Here is the debut use of our new LG washer and dryer. It’s a direct drive front load washing machine. We got the matching dryer and the base drawer units.
The Direct-Drive Motor is an outer rotor type BLDC motor, connected to a washing machine tub directly without any belt or pulley. This simplified structure helps running the washing machine quiet and reliable. Direct Drive (or inverter) washing machine motors do not include belts, chains, or gearboxes. Instead, they use their motor to directly rotate the washing machine’s drum. Direct Drive motors use energy more efficiently.
